It is a significant milestone for Team West-Tec F3 on the weekend of 18-20 September as it will make its inaugural appearance in the Zandvoort Masters of F3.
For what is the historic 25th running of the famous event, the Corby-based team will field FIA European Formula 3 regular Raoul Hyman alongside Israeli Yarin Stern, who makes his top-line F3 debut moving up from the squad's EuroFormula Open lineup.
Although the first time at the F3 Masters, the team has raced at the circuit before with young South African Raoul showing very well at the recent European at the same circuit, earlier in the summer.
John Miller, Team West-Tec F3: I am really looking forward to our Masters debut, as I have long wanted to be invited to take part.
Raoul has been doing really well this year and was fast in the European Championship round at the same circuit back in July. Yarin won't have had the chance to drive on the circuit before but he is a fast driver. He has taken a string of podiums in the EuroFormula Open, which is a very competitive series, and has been unlucky not to take a debut win, so I know we have a good driver roster and I am looking forward to a successful weekend.
Team West-Tec F3 made its FIA F3 debut in 2014, finishing sixth in the Teams Championship in just its first year, working with HWA-Mercedes as engine partner. Team West-Tec F3 enjoys team support from Nielsen Chemicals, Eibach, B-G Racing, Mechanix, MIS Locktons and Freem GB.
